I had a little time to do some of my own comparisons today between engine tunes and how they affect the transmission. I'll be bluntly honest, Diesel Theory is not my thing. I know transmissions way better.

Yesterday we did a "health check" on the transmission. We dropped the pan and verified we weren't seeing anything abnormal. - I had mentioned in a previous post talking with Kory about a noise I was hearing in the transmission and what sounded like a hydraulic bypass type noise and I finally had a chance to get a pressure gauge on the transmission.

We've discovered a revision that needs to be made in my ECM tune that Motorops sent me with my TCM file. Not a big issue, but it does need corrected, and they are already on it. - This is why it's important to review data.

For those asking about the 10 Speed tuning, is it worth it? Yes. 100% I'm going to do a comparison between Motorops and PPEI transmission tuning. I did go a step further than most and I have installed the ratiotek 800hp kit. They also call it the level 2/3 kit.
